... was not to be seen on last weekends Melbourne Art Fair in the Royal Exhibition Building. We spent the whole Thursday hanging pictures on the walls of the stand of Brunswick Street Gallery, (im)proving our skills with hammer, level, screws and pins, untill it looked like this in the end:
At the opening party that evening, the crowds pushed me eventually away from the bar witht he free drinks and flushed us through the stands filled with art. There were Banksy prints, original Melburnian Streetart artists, indigineous art, international, australian, ridiculous, funny, boring and inspiring art. The most popular piece though was a pair of featherd dog figurines, that actually got sold
luckyly, Aaron who works with me here, who himslef is a streetartist. So I got to meet many people whose graffitti I already knew. pretty cool :-)
