a short week of short films

The St. Kilda Film Festival came to an end with a glorious Closing Party last Sunday.
But let's start from the beginning. On monday I went to my first Swing Dance lesson ever! It was really good fun, but my brain was struggeling a bit with the coordination. It went a lot better this week though :-)

Tuesday was the Opening Night of the Film Festival. First Jiyeon and me saw some of the best short films at the Palais Theatre in St.Kilda and went to the Parte at the town hall with free drinks and fingerfood afterwards. Yum!

During the week I got to see a lot of films, and met very nice people. Saturday night I actually worked at the ticketing desk ...

and sunday helped at the Closing Night and the Award Ceremony. It felt soooo good doing Events again! We decorated the whole room, laid the tables, controlled tickets and brought out the pizzas (Dominos was a sponsor and did the catering - I have never eaten so much bad pizza, but it was good fun!). It was definitely not my last film festival!
