almost a resident

Today I officially settled in: I got a job, a bank account and received my tax file number. 6 more years and I can claim resident status :-)
Anyway, my job is with Expo Hire, a company that builds and furnishes stands in exhibitions. They have a huge warehouse where they store all kinds of furniture. My job is to get the desired stuff together and eventually set it up at the venue. But today I only worked in the warehouse for 4 hrs, and seeing all the different shapes and colours of the stuff reminded me a lot of the good old Event Management days in Vienna...
