the "V" or a note on Australian festivals

thank god, the heavens did not leak a single drop on the party crowd at yesterdays V Festival. It was a very Australian festival experience: only for a day, everything was very well organised. The mobile toilets were a deluxe version of the expected Dixie Klo, had toilet paper throughout the day and actually flushed. The crowds in front of the various stages was very tame, moshing was strictly prohibited.
When the headliner, the Killers, played we made it to approx 6m from the stage and were still abel to stand on our feet, move and breathe freely. Weird. But comfortable.
