cabbage

On another show we took out last week, our expectations were greatly disappointed. It was a Restaurant Show and everyone went to work hungry, expecting to get fed there. But all they left were half empty wine bottles and a head of cabbage. To me, the wine bottles were half full, and I just did not have the heart to leave the cabbage behind, so I took it home. Since I never cooked cabbage (I was happy to even recognise it as such and not, as some others did, take it for lettuce), I did not quite know what to do with it. Google helped me, and I remembered Puli cooking cabbage once upon a time in Cologne, so here is what I made of it:

you don't really taste the cabbage, it is way to hot as I miscalculated the amount of chilly powder and, yes, it does make you fart! But well, you have to try everything once, don't you?
