The reason why we worked so much last week was ATE, the Australian Tourism Exchange Show. It took a couple of 12h shifts to get all the shit in, and a whole night to get it all out. But, the nice Tourism people left a lot of stuff behind, so it was a night full of chocolate, T-shirts, Australian tea and we had a lot of fun treasure hunting through all the abandoned stalls. I scored a nice trolley, two shirts and a sweater, a beany, a scarf, tea, honey, two small staplers, a notebook (the paper ones, remember), and some yogurt. But, most interestingly, I found a folder with the whole marketing concept of Tourism Australia for North America, defining their peer groups, laying out their markeitng strategies and giving budget details - hell, they spend a lot of money to get some Yanks over here!
